Who doesn’t love pizza? Seriously, is there anyone out there who doesn’t like pizza? Maybe you don’t like a few types of toppings, like anchovies or you don’t think fruit, pineapple, belongs on your pizza. You might not like a particular pizza parlor. No one out there actually dislikes pizza in all it’s varied forms. Beyond the toppings you can also choose from Boston style, New York style, Chicago style, thin crust, and stuffed crust. The list of choices…it goes on and on. One of my favorite styles of pizza, it may not actually qualify as a pizza style, is the calzone. And this recipe is definitely going to be a favorite!

If you think about it, the calzone really is just an inside out pizza. I love that it combines all your regular pizza toppings with an outer crust, making it portable and easier to eat.
